Pet Portraits
Get a pet portrait hand drawn by Jo or a large digital pet portrait! Jo uses micron pens to stipple your pet or a friend’s pet on on 5”x7” piece of art paper, and can create 18”x24” digital collages of your pet and their favorite things.
How it works:
1. Pay for the work here on Jo’s website. Payment happens before Jo begins any work.
2. Give your name and pet’s name to [email protected] and attach reference photos of the pet and at least one high quality photo, which means a photo of at least 300dpi. Please, also send the address of the location you want a stippled drawing to get shipped to.
3. For digital collages, in the email, tell Jo everything you know about this pet. Where has this pet lived? Is this a memorial piece for someone? What does or has it loved to eat? How does or did it go about the day? Are there specific toys this pet loves? Do you want an emotion to be elicited from this artwork such as silly or serious? Does your pet like to wear a hat? Be specific! Photos of favorite items are great for this purpose. Tell Jo everything you know about this beloved creature!
4. Jo begins the work and will keep you updated on the progress.
5. For stippled drawings, Jo will send them to the address provided in the email after or within a 2 week period. Jo’s really busy and likes to provide ample amount of time for themself to complete good quality work for both stippled drawings and digital collages. The cost of shipping is included in the $65 payment for stippled drawings.
6. Digital pet collages will be emailed to the email address provided in the form of a Zip folder. In the folder you will find a full color, 18”x24” JPEG, Adobe Illustrator file, a PDF, and a PNG. You may use these files however you like! Post them to social media, share them with others, get them printed en mass! Please, tag Jo @thecampybird, to spread the good word about their work. Jo has references for where to get your digital collages printed and framed. Let them know if that is the purpose you want this collage.
